ONLINE PAYMENTS, OUR CREDIT POLICY AND DEPOSITS TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Online payments:
The online payment system is provided by Dangee Dums. Please read these terms carefully before using the online payment facility. Using the online payment facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this facility.
All payments are subject to the following conditions:-
The description of courses is specific to you (i.e. Name, start, and end date etc.) when you log in with your unique password. Dangee Dums may update these terms from time to time and any changes will be effective immediately on being set out here. Please ensure you are aware of the current terms. The country of domicile for Dangee Dums is India. All Prices quoted are in Indian Rupees. Dangee Dums reserves the right to change the prices at any time.
- Your payment will normally reach the Dangee Dums account towards which you are making a payment within 2 working days/48 working hours.
- We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the correct Dangee Dums account due to you quoting an incorrect account number or incorrect personal details. Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier for any reason.
- If the card supplier declines payment the Dangee Dums is under no obligation to bring this fact to your attention. You should check with your bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from your account.
- In no event will the DangeeDums be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use, inability to use, or the results of use of this site, any websites linked to this site, or the materials or information contained at any or all such sites, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory and whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Further, while availing any of the payment method/s available on the Website or app or any other platform, we will not be responsible or assume any liability, whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to you due to:
- Lack of authorization for any transaction/s, or
- Exceeding the preset limit mutually agreed by you and between your "Bank/s", or
- Any payment issues arising out of the transaction, or
- The decline of transaction for any other reason/s.
All payments made against the purchases/services by you shall be compulsorily in Indian Rupees acceptable in the Republic of India. Dangee Dums will not facilitate transactions with respect to any other form of currency with respect to the purchases made on the Website or app. Before delivering/shipping your order to you, we may request you to provide supporting documents (including but not limited to Govt. issued ID and address proof) to establish the ownership of the payment instrument used by you for your purchase. This is done in the interest of providing a safe online shopping environment to our users.
Certain features of the Website or app, including, without limitation, the placing of orders, may require you to make certain payments. When paid by you, these payments are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise determined by Dangee Dums. Dangee Dums, in its sole discretion, may offer credits or refunds on a case-by-case basis including. By way of example, in the event of an error with your order or at the time of payment through different mode (e.g. Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, etc.) Dangee Dums would refund the said amount said received after deduction of charges/taxes to the Dangee Dums after due verification within 7 working days.
Dangee Dums will charge, and you authorize Dangee Dums to charge, the payment method you specify at the time of purchase. If you pay via a credit card, Dangee Dums may seek pre-authorization of your credit card account prior to your purchase to verify that the credit card is valid and has credit available for your intended purchase.
Credit Policy
In the event, Dangee Dums advances payment for any of your orders placed via the Website or app (e.g., if you sign up for a corporate account), Dangee Dums may separately send you invoices for payment of those advanced amounts. In the event that you fail to pay such invoices within Seven (7) days of the date of such invoice (the “Payment Due Date”), you grant Dangee Dums the right, but not the obligation, to charge the credit card you provide with your Account at any time after any Payment Due Date, unless prohibited by law.
Dangee Dums reserves the right to establish, remove, and/or revise prices, fees, and/or surcharges for any or all services or goods obtained through the use of the services at any time. Dangee Dums may also, in its sole discretion, make promotional offers with different features and different rates to any or all of our customers. Unless made to you, these promotional offers will have no bearing on your obligation to pay the amounts charged.
Deposits:
Please note that some of our products are made to order, we require a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit for all Customized cake orders and this is due at least one day in advance of the order delivery.
For these made to order products, your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. For these made-to-order products, you may change the date of delivery if the product making has not been initiated. The future date cannot be extended more than 2 days/48 hours in advance of the previous date without the loss of your deposit as our products are perishable; all food sales are final, as per the Board of Health.
REFUND POLICY:
- If the Customer leaves the Dangee Dums Website before they complete their order, there shall be no entitlement to a refund of any amount.
- Refunds, if applicable, at the discretion of the Dangee Dums, will only be made to the debit/credit card/bank account used for the original transaction. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Policy shall require the Dangee Dums to refund the amount (or part thereof) unless such amount (or part thereof) has previously been paid.
DELIVERY:
Title and risk of loss for all products ordered by you shall pass on to you upon Dangee Dums delivery/shipment. After handover to customer Dangee Dums will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the product.
- Delivery periods quoted at the time of ordering are approximate only and may vary. Goods will be delivered to the address designated by you at the time of ordering.
- If delivery is done by its delivery partners, it is the Participating supplier’s sole responsibility to provide delivery in a timely manner.
- In case the delivery is done by Dangee Dums or a third party delivery partner assigned by Dangee Dums, we take the best efforts to deliver in a timely manner. However, no responsibility is taken for late delivery by Dangee Dums in either case.
- Participating delivery partner, aim to deliver the product to you at the place and time of delivery requested by you in your order. However, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery;
- In case of a late delivery, the delivery charge will neither be voided nor refunded by Dangee Dums.
- All risk in the Goods and the Food Delivery shall pass to you upon delivery.
- If you fail to accept delivery of Products at the time they are ready for delivery, or we are unable to deliver at the nominated time due to your failure to provide appropriate instructions, then such goods shall be deemed to have been delivered to you and all risk and responsibility in relation to such goods shall pass to you.
- Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations. If this is the case we or our partner supplier will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your order and arrange for cancellation of the order or delivery to an alternative delivery address;
- The delivery of the items ordered will be attempted only ONCE at the address as provided. In the event the delivery is not executed due to any reason whatsoever, the order shall be considered complete, and re-delivery or a refund will not be an option. The order will be deemed executed and delivered in the following events:
- Wrong address
- Recipient not available at premises
- Premises locked
- Unreachable or incorrect phone number of the recipient
- Recipient refused the products.
- Delivered the product at the gate/reception/neighborhood of the premises due to restricted entry of premises
- In case of floods/heavy rains/natural calamity/national bandh/election dates/curfews/traffic jams/festival times/regulated traffic movements/ or any other impediments that may restrict the delivery of the order. Dangee Dums reserves the right to reschedule/cancel the delivery for another date.
- No instructions will be entertained for any request to change the date of delivery for a customized cake if the cake is ready.
Goods received in Damaged Condition
The recipient should always check the product delivered before signing the receipt.
- If the recipient receives the products in damaged condition If the product delivered is found to be damaged, the recipient should refuse to accept it and immediately inform Customer Care, at info@dangeedums.com or call us on +91 98980 88885.
- As our products are perishable, issues with the products delivered should be reported within 3 hours of receipt, after that no request for replacement or refund will be entertained.
- In the case of badly damaged products, the replacement will/may be provided for non-customized products. For customized products, we will offer a refund that is elaborated upon in the next point. In case the customer opts for replacement then this will be subject to stock availability and may take up to a day to execute. Dangee Dums reserves the sole discretion to decide the course of action in this case.
- In case of refund, upon the investigation of the matter, if the case is found to be genuine then the amount can be refunded in 7 to 10 working days.
Address change requests
The decision to accept an address change request is at the sole discretion of Dangee Dums. The request will be accepted subject to the serviceability of area, availability of delivery partners, legitimacy of the request, and so on. In case Dangee Dums decides not to accept the change of address request then the amount will be refunded to customer as per our refund policy
Pin code requirements
It is the user’s responsibility to provide the correct pin code in the address of delivery. The pin code should map to the correct delivery address.
If pin code entered in the address section is incorrect then Dangee Dums reserves the right to accept/reject the order as per the Address Change Request policy mentioned before.
Assessment of damage to the product
When damage or issues with the product are reported, the quality assessment officer appointed by us will assess the situation and can accept or reject the following request based on his/her discretion. Based on the officer’s report if the complaint is found to be genuine then we will refund the amount as per our refund policy.
Please note that complaints about Minimalistic and cosmetic damages will not be accepted. These include but are not restricted to complaints like:
- Name/message on cake not written
- Cream of cake/decoration on cake not as per the subjective preference of the customer
Only cases of serious damage to the product will be eligible for refunds. Dangee Dums reserves the sole discretion to accept/reject such requests.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Please be aware that we are unable to cancel orders with less than 1 days/24 hours notice from the delivery date in case of customized cakes
- For other products cancellation is allowed until order acceptance
- Dangee Dums reserves the sole right to cancel your order in the following circumstance:
- In the event of the designated address falls outside the delivery zone offered by us;
- Failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking;
- Failure to deliver your order due to lack of information, direction or authorization from you at the time of delivery; or
- Unavailability of all the items ordered by you at the time of booking the order.
- In case of cancellations for the reasons attributable to Dangee Dums or its outlet and its delivery partners, Dangee Dums shall not charge you any cancellation fee.
- However, in the unlikely event of an item on your order being unavailable, we may contact you on the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the order and inform you of such unavailability. In such an event you will be entitled to cancel the entire order and shall be entitled to a refund in accordance with our refund policy.
REFUND POLICY
- Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we are unable to provide exchanges for custom orders
- For customized orders, refunds against cancellation will not be accepted with less than 1 days/24 hours notice from the delivery date
- Once you or a designated party has picked up an order and signed for it, it is considered "accepted" –we will ask to make sure that everything is correct such as the design, spelling, etc.
- Once “accepted”, the responsibility for the product is transferred to the customer and the order is not eligible for any refunds
- Refunds requested due to minimalistic and cosmetic change such as decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be accepted
- After signing for your cake. In some instances, you may bring the cake back in for design adjustments but this is an additional charge if the cake has been signed for
- In the case of customer pick-ups, the responsibility of the product is transferred to the customer once it leaves our shop. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or any time thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick up. Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc.
- You may qualify for a refund if the product is brought back to our store and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined to not meet our standards as per our Quality Control team.
- The acceptance of an order is subject to the availability of products, delivery areas and time. The order may or may not be accepted. The order might be canceled after assessing the circumstances and communicated to the customer. In such case the amount paid by the customer is fully refunded, customer
- Only one attempt for delivery will be made. Please confirm the availability of the recipient before choosing the delivery time. If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the second attempt will not be made and the order will be canceled. No refund will be made in such case
- Apart from the instances mentioned above, we do not give refunds under any other circumstances.
- Cakes must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably within 24 hours of pick up - please call or email us promptly to let us know of the issue. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Dangee Dums.
- Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for cakes that have already been eaten.
- Refunds are credited in 7 to 10 working days
NOTE: If we give you a refund, you CANNOT keep the cake.
Refund in cases of cancellations are mentioned in the cancellation policy, kindly refer the same.
